A mazon to invest $1 billion in INDIA. India's trade minister isn't impressed with this investment? India’s trade minister Piyush Goyal said that the amount invested by Amazon company is not a big favour to the country. The total local investment in India operation up to date is 6.25 billion wherein $1 billion was been contributed by Amazon company announced by chief executive Jeff Bezos. A conference held on Thursday organized by think tank observer research foundation, Goyal said that "so it is not like they are doing a great favour to India when they invest a billion dollars". According to a regulatory filing, the Amazon marketplace reported a huge loss of nearly $800 million in the last financial year (March 2019).
